thank you for your reply. No she had not lived long on the rivers edge somehere there. she could watch the passage go by they say. She moved there after the 1900 census were taken. She lived in Whatcom before that and and needed warmer weather so she hand her husband and 6 children moved there. there is a story that she was taen up the river in her casket with her family to the rivers edge over the anti-rapids. a hourse and buggy took them the rest of the way. but where? one says Chalen. not sure though. I can't find her. so I thought maybe I could get a death record or obit but where.
