The Quad-City Herald, May 6 1976 (Brewster, WA) Ethel Lenore Holloway Ethel Lenore Holloway, 89, Twisp, died Saturday at her home. She was born on Jan 27, 1887, in Marion, Ore., and in 1908 married Lester Holloway in Spokane.They moved to the Methow Valley in 1909, homesteading. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star No. 232, Twisp and the Twisp Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct 5, 1973. Surviving are two daughters, Nadine Witte, Twisp, and Phyllis McCallum, Tacoma; a sister, Enid Milner, Twisp; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. from the Twisp Methodist Church with Rev.
