Hi Mark,
In this case, I think the census taker made the mistake on the 1920 census.
The Bruncken's (Ernest and Erna) are staying with the Bucklands (Willis and Eda) and correctly listed as brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Louise should have been labeled "niece". But, I'm guessing the census taker just wrote daughter of the Bruncken's without remembering he was suppose to be writing about the head of household.
It's a simple mistake that I've seen happen now and again in mixed households.
Are you the owner of that tree on ancestry? It looks like the name is Floyd Evers?
