Hi, Looking for information related to any of the following: My grgrgr grandfather Christian Tiedemann came to New Holstein from somewhere in Schleswig-Holstein in 1853 with wife Anna and adult children Ehler andCatharina.(His son Christian went ahead of the family in 1852).Ehler, who died in the Civil War, I believe never married.Catharina married August Sy in 1860 and Christian (Jr.) married Magdalena Langemak in 1859. Magdalena's parents were Peter Langemak and Elsabe (Selk?) from Albersdorf, S-H.Their other children were Wiebke, Peter Jacob, William, Claus Herman and Johannes T., that I know of. Christian and Magdalena had 9 children:Helene, Arilla, Rosaline, Christiane, Bertha, Johanna, Hermine, Hermann Christian, and Elsie. Helene married John Greve, Hermann married Laura Mead, I believe.Johanna, Rosaline and Elsie all married into the Krupp family of New Holstein.(John/Johann Krupp and Anna Clara Filz (previously married to Paul Broeder) of Prussia, children: Caspar and Catharina, twins b. 1858, Jacob, b. 1861 and John, b. 1863 or 4.)Casper Krupp married Johanna Tiedemann in 1888.Then it gets complicated:John married Rosaline Tiedemann in 1898, though she had been previously married to an Anderson.Rosaline must have died because John married Elsie Tiedemann sometime before 1906, though Elsie was previously married also, to Herman Thompson, who I believe died in 1903.Some of the Krupps and Tiedemanns moved to Clark County, then on to Seattle, Washington. Any leads or connections to these related families welcome. Thanks!
