Kenneth A. Stromquist, 41, of 5631 E. County Road B, South Range, died Saturday, April 28, 2001, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 3, 1960, in Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin, and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Stromquist was a carpenter for J.R. Jensen and Son for 20 years and most recently had been employed for the past two years as a carpenter by Four Star Construction.

He was a member of the Carpenters Local 361, Boy Scouts of America and New Hope Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra; two sons, Adam K. and Andrew N., a daughter, Heather E., all at home; his parents, Arvid and Evelyn Stromquist, South Range; a sister, Becky (Leo) Sapik, Tempe, Ariz.; a brother, Robert (Brenda) Stromquist, South Range; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Downs Funeral Home with the Rev. Cheryl Danielson and the Rev. Marilee Olson of the Presbyterian Pioneer Parish officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
