First off, I need to clarify that Julia was not found.I may have been mistaken.I DID find "A" Julia Ellingson in the 1930 census of the correct age, but her marital status is listed as widow and with the last name of Ellingson, I couldn't tell if she was divorced or if this was actually the same Julia. Not really sure which is true, but I found her living in the Green Co. Asylum in 1930.You may want to follow up on that.
According to the 1930 Green Co. census, there were TWO families living in Browntown, Green Co., WI. as follows:
1930 Wisconsin, Green Co., Browntown, District 7 Ellingson, Iver 67 married at 32 WI NORWAY NORWAY Miller in Grist Mill Clara A, 60 WI NORWAY NORWAY Florence L. 26 WI WI WI Earl S. 21 WI WI WI
1930 Wisconsin, Green Co., Browntown, District 7 Ellingson, Ivaer(I think this might be Ivan) C. 25 married at 23 WI WI WI Laborer in Grist Mill Ellingson, Helen M. 21 married at 19 WI IL WI
It's my guess that Iver Sr. is father of Ivaer C. and since Ivaer was just married for less than two years at the time of the census, he would be a likely candidate for parentage during this period.Checking back into the family of Iver Ellingson Sr., there were other male children that should also be considered:
1920 Wisconsin, Green Co., Cadiz, District 132 Ellingson, Iver 57 WI NORWAY NORWAY Farmer Dairy Farm Clara A. 48 WI NORWAY NORWAY Lester O. 21 WI Florence L. 19 WI Victor J. 17 WI Ivan C. 15 WI Nora I. 13 WI Earl S. 11 WI
