I have received this obituary from the "Wisconsin Historical Society". It was in the Marinette Eagle Star june 24/44. Thorval Olson was my grandfathers first cousin. I hope some one can give me more information.
Thorval Olson, Fisherman, Dies
Patient at Marine Hospital 5 years
Thorval Olson, 65 of 215 Bay Shore street, who was a commercial fisherman, died this morning at the Marine hospital in Chicago where he had been a patient for five years. The remains will be taken to the Hansen and Onion funeral home on their arrival here. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The deceased was born june 16,1879 in Norway and came to this city in 1881. he was employed at Seidl fish house for 28 years. He was a member of the Eagles lodge. Survivors are four brothers, Antone and Oscar F. , of this city, Carl of St. Ignace and Henry of Manitowoc; and six sisters, Mrs. Hubert Boucher, Mrs. Joseph Boullcah and Mrs. Joseph Jasperson of Manitowoc, Mrs. John Johnson and Mrs. Edward Bergman of Portland Ore. And Mrs. Fred Jasperson of Minneapolis.
