Thank you for reply.I have copies of Civil war pension records for Burns, James L., and Soloman Statler. Had never sent for Stephens or Erastus. Also have copies of your first two books that I bought when they were first published and would like to say how much I have enjoyed seeing the information on my Statlers and some other related families. Have waited to see the last book and was told a few weeks ago that it is ready, but not published yet. I was going to write to the publisher to ask about when it is to be printed. I had never seen John's name as Jonathan before, not even on his marriage record to Mary Soper in Marion Co., Ohio in 1827. One of my cousins was just in Oshkosh, Wis and took pictures of Jonathan and Soloman Statler's gravestones. Thanks to you we have been able to find them. John Statelor/Statler was b.@ 1803 in Ohio, he was s/o Jacob Statelor and he had a twin brother James Statelor. He married Mary Soper, d/o Soloman Soper & Sarah Allen. They also had daughter, Clarissa Statelor who m. Isaiah Doughty/Doty. Elizabeth Statelor who married Isaiah Doughty/Doty after her sister Clarissa died.
Soloman Statelor & Louisa Weston had a son George Sherman Statler who was born at the home of my other Great Great-grandparents, Daniel W. Wampole and Margaret (Fox) Wampole
Burns Statler m. Fanny Fox, a sister of Margaret.
Stephen Statler m. Anna Elizabeth Fox, another sister of Fanny and Margaret.
Another Fox sister, Ellen Fox was the 3rd wife of Isaiah Doty.
I would be happy to send you more on these families, Eva
