Hello Reginia. I'm Joe Ramirez and was born in Worland in 1942. I now live in Los Angeles, Calif. My father was Gregory Ramirez your Grandmother Maria Ramirez's brother. I know they moved to Wapato Washington about the time we did but I think it was after 1943. In Wapato Aunt Mary and Uncle Andres lived next to my father's mother, Matilde Vargas Ramirez Gonzalez. I too have been researching my family roots and see Andres Villalobos in the 1930 U.S. Census. for Worland Waskakie Wyoming. He is not married yet. I knew some of my cousins from Worland and Wapato. I don't know too much about Uncle Andres but I remember him driving me to the hospital in Yakima, about 14 miles from Wapato. My father also worked in the beet fields and the railroad. I too would like to more about Uncle Andres Villabobos. I'll ask my 85 year old brother Alex if he can remember anything that will help you. I have a lot of our Ramirez family history and am looking forward to the 1940 U.S.Census this April. Look up John Gonzalez 1920 U.S.Census Big Horn,Wyo.My father is listed as Gregorio Gonzalez and I think Aunt Maria is listed as Maria Caldron. I'm trying to find my Grandfather Jose Ramirez but have found nothing in the United States. I'm sure our families were together most of the time in Wyoming.
