"Cavaliers & Pioneers," Vol. 1, 1623-1666, Nell Marion Nugent, Virginia State Library, Richmond, 1992, p. 140: "Luce Webster, daughter & heire of Roger Webster, deceased, 250 acres, Yorke Co., 19 Nov. 1642, Patent Book 1, p. 857. In the parish of Hampton, adjoining land formerly taken up by Mr. David Mansell for the use of the said Luce Webster, & adjoining land of CHRISTOPHER ABBOTT. Transportation of 5 persons by her father: Edward Spach, Stephen (--), Susan Webster, Tho. Webster [sic]."
"Cavaliers & Pioneers," Vol. 1, p. 158: "Mr. David Mansell, 72 acres, York Co., in Kiskeake Parish, 8 Sept. 1645, Patent Book 1, p. 37. Adjoining CHRISTOPHER ABBOTT & his own land. Due by right of transportation of 2 persons."
"Cavaliers & Pioneers," Vol. 1, p. 161: "Lucie Webster, 200 acres Yorke Co., 20 April 1646, Patent Book 1, p. 53. Daughter & heire of Roger Webster, deceased. Within the Parish of Hampton, beginning at 500 acres formerly taken up by Mr. David Mansell for the use of the said Lucie Webster, adjoining CHRISTOPHER ABBOTT. Said 250 [sic] acres formerly granted to her 19 Nov. 1642, due for transportation of 5 persons by her father."
