Dorcas, d. at Woodbury, 15 May 1720; m. John Roots. Jonathan, received a grant from Norwalk, 1698. for service as a soldier; m. at Norwalk, 5 June 1696. Sarah Olmstead, dau. of Lt. John. Priscilla, m. [prob. Stephen] Clawson. Mary, m. (???). Daniel. George.
Abbott, George. (above) Mrs. C. F. Heine of Bridgeport, Conn., kindly called our attention to the will (1676) of the first Jonas Weed of Stamford which names his dau. Mary wife of George Abbott. Since some of the Abbott children had Weed names, it is likely that Mary Weed was their mother, but it is not certain that she was his first wife or mother of all the children.
