Don't know if this might be information somebody is looking for or not, but I found this notation in a book with info from the 1870 Census, Park Township, Scott Co., AR:
William F. Abbott, (184?-1887) NC, wife Mary Helen Monroe (1849-1914). One place lists her as being from GA and another from Harvey, AR. William was born in Stokes Co., NC, near Wythe Co., VA and left NC at 17 or 18 before the Civil War. He went to AR, also spent time in TX and MO. He was captured in the Battle of Jasper, MO in 1863 and was in prison in Alton, IL. He was a member of the 4th MO Cavalry Regiment.
Their children were Robert Lee (died as an infant), William Francis 1874-1908 unmarried, Nancy Mildred (m. R. J. Cooley), Zenobia, Emma, Thomas Oscar, and Frankie (female).
