My husband descends from James R. Abbott, a brother to your Aaron Abbott.It is interesting to note that he also named his son after his brother.

Aaron Abbott died 2 Feb 1847 in Huron Co. OH.He is buried at the Day Cemetery, Fairfield Twp. Huron Co. OH.

Wife Polly's dates on tombstone reads born 1795, died 1859, buried at same cemetery.

Been trying to prove that James R. & Aaron are children of Obed Abbott & Elizabeth Edmunds.James R. came to Henrietta Twp, Lorain Co. OH in 1824 with son in law, Henry Thurston.In 1820 census for Butler Co. OH he shows up there, from 1830 on, do not have a thing on him.
