Had 9 children; Esther b. 11/8/1770, Ebenezer b. 10/13/1772, Michael b. 1/28/1775, Nathan b. 10/22/1777, Isaac b. 8/22/1778 d. 2/5/1779, Sarah b. 1/12/1780 m. Phineas St. John 9/23/1799, and Elizabeth b. 2/26/1787.
Ebebezer-3 was b. in Norwalk, Fairfield Co., CT and m. there 11/3/1730, to Ann Lyon.He probably lived in Wilton Parish, Norwalk. Had 6 children; Abigail b. 9/13/1731, Ruth b. 6/2/1733, Abijah b. 9/3/1735, Lois b. 9/11/1737, Seth b. 12/23/1739 and Ebenezer-4.
George-2 was probably b. in Norwalk, Fairfield Co., CT, in 1669, where he lived till he d. abt. 1731. He probably m. Hannah Hayes. He was a farmer. Had 11 children; George, Ebenezer-3, Jemima, Benjamin, Samuel, Hannah, Rebeckah, Israel, Elizabeth, Dorcas, and Daniel.
George-1 Abbott of Norwalk, Fairfield Co., CT, is first mentioned in Hinman's "Catalogue of the Names of the First Puritan Settlers of the Colony of Connecticut", in 1648. He was marshal 1659, townesman 1664, pounder 1667/81674/5, "Sergeant Abbott" was also "surveyor" 1688.Had 7 cheldren; John, Dorothy, Priscilla, Mary, Jonathan, George-2, and Daniel.
