Am still searching for any info, but recently obtained additional data that might help with my search. If any of it rings true, please respond. Thanks!! ...
Charles Aurelian Abbott from Nova Scotia, born around 1884 and emigrated about 1898. Married Beatrice (unknown) about 1902 in Phila and had three children: Charles, Jr., Anna, and Alice (she later became Sister Nicholas Marie of the order of St. Joseph, and was stationed in Pottstown, PA).
Married Mary Desmond about 1912, also in Phila, and had three more children: Cornelius, Edward, and Margaret.
Charles A. was raised Baptist, but converted to Catholicism, apparently resulting in his being disowned by his family in Nova Scotia. His mother's name was Ida Adams, and siblings were Ira, Harold, David, and Nellie. Apparently, David was a ship's master who took people back and forth to Florida to winter homes.
NOTE: tried to post this previously, but was unable to. If some have duplicate requests, my apologies.
