His first marriage was to Edith Rickard in Dec. 1883 in Skipton, York, the 2nd one in Sept. 1886 to Lousia Mary Matilda Colbourne, whose parents were Henry and Mary Colbourne. She was born in 1858 in Melksham, Wiltshire.The 3rd marriage was to Dorothy Earnshaw in Dec. 1892.Her parents were Thomas and Sarah Earnshaw. She was 21 when she married Atkinson Abbott in 1892.
Mary Alice Abbott,born 1890, daughter of Atkinson and Louisa Mary, married Edward Charles Ward in Dec. 1914 in Keighly, West Yorkshire.They had at least 3 children - John H. Ward - Mar. 1915 in Wakefield, Edna - Dec 1919 in Wakefield, and Dorothy S. born Mar. 1920 in Keighly.

I have a picture of Grandma Pamela. My grand father, Richard Bond was their first child born in 1868.He married Rachel Ann Harvey in 1890.Alice the only girl was born 1891, then came Richard Henry 1892, William-1894 who died in France, July 1917 (WWI)then my dad Colin born 1897 - wounded in France 1917, Robert (Bob) - 1899. All were born in Rocester, Staffs. This family then moved to Yorkshire, and had Joseph Edward Harvey Bond-1906, Vincent Poynton Bond-1908, and Wilfred Ellis Bond-1910. Pamela had 6 children before Samuel Bond died, and Pamela remarried to Thomas Pegg.
