Interesting, but who is the researcher, what has he researched, what possible proof does he have for such a claim? I have never heard of anything about George of Norwalk living with the Indians, as there is so little known about him, but it seems to be a fact that he was fined for selling powder to an Indian. Perhaps he had just had a little too much to drink that day. While off hand I doubt this claim, I am opened minded enough to be willing to listen to any arguments and some proof.
At this same time I believe (I'm not at home now so I'm working from memory) there were two George Abbotts in Massachusetts who are thoroughly mixed up with my George; the whole picture is just not as clear to me as I believe it should be. The LDS site has loads of George Abbotts, and they have George of Norwalk marrying one lady in England and then marrying another the next day in Connecticut. I didn't know they had SSTs in those days. One of those wives was obviously the wife of a Massachusetts George.
