SITZMNA-ABBOTT--At the home of the bride’s parents, Sunday, September 12, 1909, at high noon, Charles E Sitzman of Taft, California, and Miss Ada Henriette Abbott of Longmont. The Abbott home was the scene of a very pretty wedding last Sunday, when the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Abbott was given in marriage to C.E. Sitzman who formerly lived in Longmont, but the home of the young couple will be in Taft, California. The parlor was decorated with white asters and the dining room with red flowers and natural foliage. A beautiful white and green floral bell was hung in the parlor, under which, while Miss Grace Lee played the wedding march, the bridal pair took their stations for the ceremony. The bride was arrayed in white and carried a bouquet of bride’s roses. She has been one of Longmont’s most attractive young ladies. After Mr. Brown had tied the nuptial know the company adjourned to the dining room, where an elegant wedding dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Sitzman left for Denver on the 5:22 train intending to spend a few days in that city and after a wedding trip they will be at home in Taft, California, October 1st. The Ledger extends congratulations and best wishes.
