A Birthday Remembrance

C.C. Penock of Boulder, but formerly of Longmont, reached the 72nd milestone of life’s journey last Sunday, Mrs. Belle Abbott, his sister, Mr and Mrs Arthur Golden drove over to Boulder with a birthday cake with seventy-two tapers, and gave Mr. Pennock a surprise.Mr. Pennock is in poor health, having had several strokes of paralysis, but was pleased to be remembered.He came to the Longmont district, call Burlington, December 23, 1862, and has lived in Boulder the past nine years.He is well known by the oldtimers all over the county.
