Judy, the 6/14/1880 Census of Foster Twp, McKean Co, PA for my g/g/f, Gilbert Bridenbaker, showed of course, his wife, Jennie ( her maiden name was Jennie Ferosa Abers), and also showed his inlaws in the household, Garret Abers age 66 born in Scotland(?)(I have personal handwritten record showing he was born in New Jersey, 4/23/1913), his parents born in Scotland.... His wife, Louisa, born in NY but her parents also born in Scotland. It showed Jennie's siblings:Efta, 19, Born NY; Dan, 14, Born NY; Mary, 10, Born NY; and Gilbert, 8, Born NY.Any of this of help to you. Garret Abers enlisted Pvt, at Ellicottville, Cattaraugus Co., NY, age 37, on 10/18/1861. Assigned 10/16/1861 to Co. I 37th Inf. Reg. NY and was mustered out 6/22/1862 New York, NY. I have info but can't connect yet a Garret Abers B-4/7/1888 Humphrey Center, New York registering for WWI Civilian Draft at Warren, Pa. Let me know if any of this connects for you and perhaps I can then connect mine.....(my surfing sure turns up people and questions.... I love it !!!!!)ArnoldPS: Jennie is buried in Franktown Cem., Ashford, Cattaraugus Co, NY.
