Lindy: As you and most serious family researchers are well aware, information and data included in the various 'Birth, Death, Marriage and migration' collections are derived from a variety of sources...official government documents, census records, family Bibles, grave markers, circumstantial evidence, probable estimates, etc.As such, ALL extracted information derived from said collections should be used with caution! So what is your point?
Taking everything into consideration, John, Colvill and Chrystal could be 'likely' siblings and children of John Abercrombie (my circa 1736) by a first wife...and NOT Ann Kellett!Female names given the children of John, Colvill and/or Chrystie do NOT support said John's/Colvill's/ Chrysrie's mother as being named Ann.Now that we both have posted our thoughts on the matter, we need to move on!Tony Schoonover
