I really can't give you much information but when I saw your message I knew that I had heard my mother talk about Caroline Abercrombie Hansen.She was my mother's great aunt.Mom calls her "Aunt Cal".Anyway, I called mother, who is 91 years old, to see if she could give me any information to pass on to you but she couldn't remember much.She did tell me that "Aunt Cal" married Johnny Hansen.At one time they lived in Mattoon, Illinois, where Johnny Hansen was a streat car conductor.He disappeared one night and his money belt was found in the trash.No one ever heard from him again.Mom could not recall anything of Aunt Cal's children.I asked her if Aunt Cal continued to live in Mattoon and she said she thought she moved to Gays, Illinois, but could not remember for sure.Not much info, I'm afraid.
