Me again. We need to get our correspondence together under one subject! As to Richard L., this is what I am wondering...I believe he is the son of Blackstone Abernathy (our common ancestor, then) of Fayette Co., KY.If this is so, I believe that the "L" in his name stands for Lunenburg.I was given a list of ancestors by my grandmother, and one of Blackstone's children was named Lunenburg (that name also reappears farther down the line, as does Blackstone) and there is no Richard.Birth dates for both R.L. and Lunenburg are essentially the same.Lunenburg disappears about the time R.L. appears in a diffent county, and, I think that at that time, that line of Abernathys is really the only one in Kentucky. The other Virginia Abernathys moved into Tennessee.R.L. has a son named Richard Locke (I saw this elsewhere on the internet, but haven't confirmed it.)Locke is the maiden name for Blackstone's wife, Elizabeth Peterson Locke. What do you think?
