George Cabell Greer's "Early Virginia Immigrants 1623-1666", originally puplished Richmond VA 1912, reprinted by Genealogical Publishing Company, Inc, of Baltimore, MD, in1960, 1973, 1978, 1982, 1989. 1998, & 2004, ISBN 0-8063-0161-9, agrees with you on Robert West's importation to Charles City County of himself, Susannah, John West, Dan. Evans, Jeffrey Phillips, John Reeves, Geo. Willet, Thos. (not Nancy) Bowman, Ken Wentworth, and Robt Ebernathell. I could not find Jane Connelly, John Coppage, Mary Owen, or Sam Jarinjoe in his monumental work. I may look again tomorrow: the eyes want resting now.
And did you notice the difference in the ages of Susanna Tillman between that given for her in 1656 and that given for her in the probate of her will?
Said probate states she is aged 69 or thereabouts. Which is a quite a bit less than the 94 she would be 60 years later if her age in 1656 were correct and she is, indeed, the same Susannah who was married to Roger Tillman, Virginia Merchant in 1656.
Could you perhaps follow up on that report on the ship 'Providence' and see if it yields something interesting?
