Here is why I advised you to contact Jim Barnes immediately.
While I was researching your line and before composing that message I posted on one of ancestry.com's internal message boards, I located several on-line trees on ancestry.com. Two cited a gedcom obtained from Jim for some of their sources. The other was Jim's upload. There were others that had Andrew and his wife, but none with her maiden name. Therefore it seemed to me that he was the one for you to contact in order to determine what _his_ source for her maiden name was. I did not have that but I had mostly everything else he had once I'd looked over his online tree.It always pays to go to the source if at all possible.
I didn't mean to cut you off rather sharply yesterday, but it'd been a very frustrating couple of days. As it presently stands, I still haven't fully migrated all my critical applications to the new environment, let alone all my documentary evidence. Twenty years under one operating environment just can't be switched over to this new one in a day or even a week. But as soon as I can, I'll probably be contacting him myself!
I do wish you luck in your future researches and hope that if you can come up with ground-breaking news, you'll let me know.
