Finally I find some Abington relatives and get past my brick wall.I am the 3gggrandson of John T. Abington and Rebecca Taylor of Obion County, TN.I have their family bible, as it has stayed in the family through my grandmother's family.I just had it restored about 10 years ago now, as my great uncle John Abington Bowers had the bible until he died in 1991.It was in bad shape, but I've got it now, have copied all the family information and also provided copies of the bible to the Genealogy Library in Salt Lake City, UT.The bible also contains the names of a few slaves born and recorded in the bible.
I don't have the bible right in front of me, but I can piece together the details from memory, and will provide details to anyone who wants the information.I will start with John T. Abington and Rebecca Taylor and come forward.I will mark my line with and X to show my descent.
