Rosa Abney Morefield was my great grandmother.Are any of you directly related to her?I would enjoy hearing from you.I found this in some old papers:

Mrs. Rosa Abney Morefield, 48, died Saturday morning at 2:30 o’clock at her home on the Beattyville road following a long illness.Mrs. Morefield had been confined to her bed three months before her death.
She was a find Christian character and lived up to her religion as a member of the Church of God.She was married to Harrison Morefield in May of 1908.To this union there were thirteen children born.
The survivors are her husband and eleven children: Mrs. Marsh Tipton and Mrs. George Sparks, of Ravenna; Raymond, Nesbert, Leah, Lillie, Lyda, Dudley, Ruth,Jerry and John D. Morefield at home; two sisters, Mrs. Willard Dolch, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Mrs. Mamie Hollinsworth, Dayton, Ohio, and three grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Viola Morefield and baby son, Kelly, who lived with her and cared for her during her illness.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 0’clock at the Ravenna Church of God with the pastor, the Rev. C. M. Dunn officiating.Burial was in the Barnes cemetery at Cow Creek.
The pallbearers were Wilbur Wise, I.C. Williams, Hubert Tipton, Luke Spicer, Joe Berryman and Arnold Barnes.
Among those from out of town attending the funeral Sunday of Mrs. Rosa Abney Morefield were Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Ballard, Mr. and Mrs. John Ballard and Mrs. Jane Hounchell, of Winchester; Mrs. Willard Dolch, and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Dolch, Jr., of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mrs. Mamie Hollinsworth, of Dayton, Ohio.
