Mrs. M. E. Abrahamson of Lily Lake, wife of Campton Township's supervisor, E.M. Abrahamson, was critically injured last week Wednesday in a motor accident near Fitchhome farms on Route 71 on the way to Aurora. Her neck was broken but she still lives.
Mrs. Abrahamson, her daughter, Mrs. Lester Carlson, the two Carlson children, Margaret, who is three and Leroy, four months old, were on their way to Aurora. Ramon Sauter of Escanaba, Mich., a nephew of the Abrahamsons, was driving. The car, bounding across the road to the left, turned over in the ditch on the north side of the road. Mrs. Abrahamson, who occupied the rear seat alone, was the only one hurt.
She was taken to theSt. Charles hospital, Aurora, where she will be in a cast for the next six weeks but is expected to recover. This is the first case the hospital has known of such recovery.
