Herb,
Have you ever ran accross a Benjamin Abrams in any of your Abrams research? He was born abt. 1858 in Ky. I believe he is connected to the Joseph and Lucinda Abrams line that was on the 1850 Madison Co. Ky. census. I have never been able to prove this since I cannot find any parents for him and cannot find him on any 1860 or 1870 census. I can only trace him back to 1877 in Carter Co. Ky. on a minister's return record where he married his first wife, Nancy Gulley. On it it stated that Benjsmin Abrams and Nancy Gulley where married in the presence of Lucinda Abrams and M.C. Abrams and married by Sylvester Abrams. I believe that these Abrams were the Abrams of the 1850 Madison Co. census line. I know that Lucinda, McKinzie and Sylvester were in the Carter Co. area at the time. Lucinda must have died before 1880. Sylvester and Mckinzie later shows up in Henry Co. Indiana where they died.
Any input appreciated.
Alice
