Ignore the message that I sent this morning.I said Friend when I meant Gabriel. Here is what I meant to say
I just found this web page on the internet.
http://www.ole.net/~maggie/trimble/abrams.htmhttp://www.ole.net/~maggie/trimble/abrams.htm.It says that your Friend Abrams' father was married to Susan Rose not Susan Lackey.I don't know which is correct.
Although I am not related to this line of the Abrams family I enjoy
tracing other early American families with that name.My earliest known
Abrams ancestor was James Abrams b. 1745 probably in County Antrim,
Ireland. His name appears on the 1790 census as James Abraham.Check
out my web page at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranch/5458/http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranch/5458/.
Gabriels's parents were Henry Abraham, Jr.b. 1775 in Turkeyfoot,
Somerset Co., PA and Rachel Turpin b. 1779 in TN.Henry's parents were
Thomas Abraham b. 1751 in Staunton VA. and Jemmiah Jerriah Friend b.1754 in Staunton, VA.Henry's father was Henry Abraham, Sr. b. abt 1720 in Wales and d. 1828 at the age of 108 in Turkeyfoot, PA .His mother was Rhoda Spencer b. about 1729 probably in Staunton VA.
