I suppose you are referring to the book "Armorial Lusitano" (it's in portuguese, by the way). This book is published by Edicoes Zairol, Lda., Rua Latino Coelho, Nr. 8, 5th floor, Right - LISBON, PORTUGAL.

There are families who write ... de Abreu and others write d'Abreu. My father always told me that our name was written "d'Abreu". We are from Portugal. My grandfather was born in the north of Portugal and my father and myself were both born in Lisbon. We lived for almost 20 years in Angola (the town of Lobito, a seaport, where the Benguela Railways has its beginning). I don't know of any d'Abreu's from India (perhaps Goa) but I have a niece (indeed he is married to a european niece of both me and my wife) who is from indian origin and was born in Mozambique. He is called Ismail Feizal. Cheers.
