I don't have a connection with you ...YET. I can tell you this ... Anything close in the Census should be taken as a lead. In my experience, the ages (year of birth) are often wrong. I don't think a lot of the people celebrated birthdays. They seemed to only know "about" how old everyone was, but not exactly. Misspellings on names are also VERY common. ESPECIALLY in the California Birth and Death Index.
