Maria de Abreu
I ran across a Maria de Abreu while researching Juan de Turuegano who was a person from Valladolid, Spain and sailed to Chile and Peru with the explorer Pizzaro during the 1530s. The source said that "he married with Maria de Abreu".It didn't say where she was from or where they were married, but the wording in my source gave the impression that they were married in Valladolid, Spain.
Are any of you familiar with this particular connection?
