Re: Abreu from Utuado Puerto Rico

Don Domingo Abreu Delgado and Maria de las Mercedes Reyes Mexías were the very first Abreu who emigrated from San Miguel de Abona to PR and settled in Carrizales, Hatillo. They had the following children: Luisa, Rafaela, Josefa; Liboria; María; Alejandro and José Domingo Abreu Reyes. The three first girls married three brothers García Abreu (Juan; Isidro and Vicente García Díaz, sons of Matías García and Clara Díaz.

I am descendants from Luisa Abreu Reyes and Juan García Díaz, as her daugther, Isabel García Abreu married my great Gand father, Fco García Delgado (the father of "La Diosa Mita" in a second marriage).

Josá Domingo Abreu Reyes is the ancestors of all the Abreu from Hatillo, as Alejandro did not had boys. José Domingo married Petra "Petrona" Rodríguez Monroy, who were the parents of Carlina; Eustaquia "Cayita"; Francisco; María Mercedes (married Esteban Susoni Pratts); and Eduardo Abreu Rodríguez.

Eduardo Abreu Rodríguez married Irene Rodríguez, who are the parents of Manuel "Nelo" Abreu Rodríguez, who married Carmen Román _______ (?). Among their ten children (all their names starts with "a", except Haydeé) is your father Adali ABreu Roman who married you mother Tomasita _____
______, who, according to my informant, apparently had only one sibling.
