I have a "Mysie Absalom" born in London 1865.It is possible she was daughter (or granddaughter) of David A and Virtue Manby, because Virtue died in St. Pancras, London, where she was living with her daughter Elizabeth. (I'm not sure how dates tie in though). I think there is a generation gap here. David was originally from Norfolk/Suffolk as far as I can see, but went up to Earsdon (Northumberland)to live. Possibly they then moved to London. I will be getting the birth cert. shortly.
I had thought there to be some relationship to Mysie de Mansfield Absalon, who lived some period in the St. Pancras area and died in kensington 1879. She was the wife of the famous artist John Absalon.A son of his (John) emigrated to Southern Australia where he had lucrative mining interests. Possibly he could have had a daughter named after his mother.
