Yes, I believe what I have is a 53 pg copy of a copy of "The History of the Achesons in America"(copy 2,Dec 24,1912 Honolulu) by your grand uncle. My father got it from either Mrs. Mildred Edgerton or Walter Malloch(grgrandson of Martha Acheson Morrow from Humphrey 1736/40's line) in the late 1960's.There's a cover letter which indicates that a J.R.Gobble obtained it from Ivan D. Acheson in Denver. There are a few written notes in the margins by Ethel (Johnston )Lively(John Acheson's cousin)and Mr. Gobble had to reconstruct some of the words and dates.
What I have includes: Ch1 The Titled Line (4pg)"earliest trades" (p5-8) "more definite history" including John's family and the "Still Book"(24pg p9-29--the page numbers are very confusing) "The other Achesons"(p29-31)
Department 2 of Book One(32-47)Matthew and Humphrey's children
Patriarchal Genealogy Table (handwritten)(48-52) a copy of the obituary ofAlbert R. Acheson of Alliance NE --Ivan D Acheson's father(p53)
How does this compare to your copy? Hope this is helpful. K.Bain
