This was a second marriage for both Catharine (Clapper) Hoover and Daniel Ulrich. He was first married to Catharine Holsinger who was b. 4 Feb. 1792 in Franklin Co. PA. and the daughter of George and Rosanna Freidly Holsinger. She lived at Bakers Summit in Bedford Co. PA at the time of her marriage to Daniel Ulrich. She died 19 Feb. 1830 in Wayne Co. Indiana and interred in the Ulrich cemetery near Hagerstown, IN.
