Hi George, I'm not researching the Acker family as such. I research families of the Rev. War vets.( N.E. PA) So would come Philip Jacob Acker, there is no record of PHilip, service or pension but there is a Jacob of PA.(pension file, no service record) There is no record of a Christian either. (I know he is listed in the PA Archive but he is not listed in the National Archives and so he has no record).
There is no pension file for any Wucheter in the National Archives, but he is listed in the PA. Archives (books) as Martin Wuchter, Vol. 8. pg 502 as serving. And he is listed in Lehigh County as serving, 6th Bttn, Mil. Northampton County. Also in that history, it states he had 10 children and that one of his children, 'Christian married a Daniel Acker, and Daniel died in 1844, she married 2nd to John W. Woodring. Now I would go back to see who Daniel Acker is ( I would look for his parents) I no this confusing to you ( not for me ) and then to prove Daniel is related to the Rev War vet, Jacob Acker.
