The 1880 Federal Census Gratiot County reflect Charles living with his wife Selinda and family James (18), Robert (13), Agnes (11),Hattie (5), soninlaw Frank Stafford (having consumption and being out of work for 6 months), Chattie Stafford and their child Fred Stafford (3).Also in the household is daughter Sattie Hoag and her son Floyd Hoag (1).
The 1900 Federal Census Soundex for Gratiot County shows the widow of Charles, Celinda E. Ackles as living with her daughter and son inlaw in the Charles F. Cook's household.
This does not jive with the data from the Emery book about her dying in Canada!
