Hi, I'm just starting out, but I have some hand written notes from my Great Great Grandmother.My late grandmother Violet Victoria Pio, who married Lee Lysander Swartwout, who changed his last name to Swartout, told me we had many family members in the New York area.

Simon Swartwout born 14, 1788, married Alcy Westfall born September 13, 1790, married June 14, 1812

There children:
Peter born november 8, 1813, married Dianna Cuddaback born July 10, 1818, married February 2, 1836

James Swartwout Died March 21, 1886, Sterling Cemetary, Sterling New York.

Daniel Swartwout

Also had many other brothers or sisters but do not know the names.

Jacob J. Swartwout born Dec. 26, 1839 Married Mary Elizabeth Sayer Feb 8, 1866.
