Hi,George, Great to hear from you. Yes it looks as if we do have common ancestors on the family tree. The dates don't quite match but there is only a year difference here and there which I have come across in my research already. The Family diary I am working from is a poor photocopy of a hand written original. This original was written in a quill pen and the handwriting is also poor.It is taking quite a bit of transcribing. As I said before my main interest is in my mother's family who were Johnson, but before that they were Ingram and before that Acklom Ingram and before that Acklom. The Robert Ingram of Beverley is definitely one of my family as there were at least 4 Robert Ingram's of Beverley. The eldest Robert Ingram was married to Theodosia Gascoigne 1698-1770 and one of their 6 children Robert 1726-1804 was married to Catherine Acklom and one oftheir 2 children wasRobert Acklom Ingram who married Matilda Springthorpe. You didn't say where you are working from, I am in Perth Western Australia and as I explained my work is obviously not as far advanced as yours. What sources did you use to get your information on the Acklom family and have you come across any other Ingram or Johnson references? The oldest piece of data I have is a sketchy family tree of Ingleram de Corcy which dates back to 1090 and also seems to belong.I hope to here from you soon. Regards Deborah.
