Re: Need help on Valentine Acord of IL

The 1850 Census for Lawrence County Ohio, Valentine's family is listed under the spelling Aker.The two eldest daughters are not listed on the census.Shortly after 1850 Census, Valentine was getting ready to migrate to a small town in White County, Illinois.Elizabeth did not make the move and died between 1851 and 1853.
Valentine took a 2nd wife named Rose Hilldridge (could be your confusion of the wives) in Feb 1856.They divorced in 1861.
In the 1860 Census Valentine is listed in White County, Illinois with the household of his son in law John ORR.
Valentine takes a 3rd wife, a widow named Jane (WEASE) Aud.This union produced two sons, Daly (1862) and Job (1868)
Valentine lived a long and fruitful life having a total of 3 wives and 13 children.He died on Feb 14, 1895 at the age of 89.
