Any chance you are descended from ACRES (various spellings) from the area of Greater Boston, MA, USA?

I ask because of your Name: William Roy Acres.

My husband's father Richard Warren Acres had a brother Harold Roy Acres. They were part of a very large familyresiding in the areas of Greater Boston.

There were some early ACRES settlers:

John b abt 1632 md to Desire Ye Truth (Thorne)
They had a son William bapt 1679 at the Roxbury Church (Boston)who appears in the 1790 US Census at Muddy River (Now Brookline, near Boston) with 3 sons 2 over & 1 under the age of 16 plus 5 females
Another son John was bapt same place 8/10/1673

Henry Acres b 1652 md to Hannah Silver and lived in Newbury, Essex co, MA

I would be interested in knowing your pedigree as far back as you have.
