Glad to be of help with your Acton line. The birth records for British Columbia are not available until 100 years has passed. The other alternative will be to get the death certificates for William and Catherine Acton. No doubt that one of the daughters will have been an informant for the information needed on the death certificates.
I have been planning on going up to the library in BC where the microfilm is available for these death certificates,Will be sometime this summer, just don't have an exact date. If any of the daughters have been an informant for the death certificate, I can then check the city directory to find out if they resided in the same general area.
Meanwhile I will contact a second cousin (she's eighty years now) whose grandfather was William Percy Acton. She might recall some family trivia about any other Acton family that was in the Vancouver area when she was a youngster.
