I am hoping after all of this time that you will see this message.
I have been researching my ggrandmother Lydia E. (Achuff) Campbell's family.
In the 1880 Census she is in Middletown, Delaware County, Village of Lenni.
Her father is Robert Achuff and mother is Caroline.
Her brother is Robert and her sister is Sarah E.
I have found her sister married to a LOVELAND and living in Chester, Delaware County, PA in the 1900 Census.
By the 1910 Census they are living near her sister Lydia in the Kensington Section of Philadelphia, PA.In the 1920 Census they are in the same area.By 1930 they moved to the area above Allegheny Avenue, still in Kensington.
Robert died sometime between 1880 and 1890.He served in the Civil War and his wife Caroline was trying to collect Widow's Pension.I am still trying to research this information.
Lydia was married to James P. Campbell in March of 1897.They lived around St. Michael's in Kensington and then moved to 2058 N. Phillip St. (below Diamond St.)
Does any of this sound familiar to you or is there any connection to anyone with Achuff's in Philadelphia?
