My wife's line goes back to a John F. Ada b. 1868 who was in Cape Vincent, N.Y. by 1886 when his son Robert William Ada was born. He also had a daughter named Alice that I know of. John's wife was Cora Dennee for whom I have the dates 1861-1939. They are both buried in St. John's cemetery in Cape Vincent. And there are quite a few other Adas from later generations buried and living in that area (at the head of the St. Lawrence River).
A glance at a map shows that this is not far from Kingston, despite the international border.
Any chance John is William's son or other relative?
