In O'Hart's book "Irish Landed Gentry" p.437 it gives names of Grantees in the Gov. Records, volume "Commission of Grace" c.1684 apparently confirmations of grants applied for from the reign of King Charles II arising from a Commission directed to the Duke of Ormond, then Lord Lieut. of Ireland.Amongst those were:
Charles Adare (may have been grandson of Bishop Archibald Adair)
Robert Dee, Alderman(may have been relative of a Mayor of Dublin)
Thady Quin(Lord Adare of Limerick)
Perhaps more information i.e. names of lands granted may be found in this volume.
