In 1804 the Court ordered Bozeman to apply for Letters of Administration both for his father's estate (William) and for that of his brother John. Also in 1804 he was appointed administrator for the estate of his brother Robert.I have often wondered if these 3 men -- father and 2 sons -- died on or around the same date.
Robert's wife, Christina B., challenged Bozeman's right to administer Robert's estate and petitioned the Court for Letters of Administration on 5 April 1805.There is no record that her petition was successful.
He was also appointed appraiser of John Adair's estate in 1805.In the following year (1806) he was appointed guardian for John's daughter Susannah.
On 22 July 1805 Bozeman was appointed guardian to one James Ramsey, illegitimate son of Robert by a woman named Catey Ramsey. If Robert was married, I don't have a record of it.
Hope this helps. This is a confusing family line to follow.
