Shirley, I think I have found your HEZEKIAH ADAIR in the Jackson Co. Georgia Tax Digest for 1802. I was at the archives in Atlanta and I was searhing the Jx Co. Tax Digests for my Bozeman Adair when I ran across Hezekiah in the same District as BENJAMIN ADAIR. They were in Captain Brazles District and Benjamin was on land granted to Gilliam, adjoining Fowler on the Appalachee River. You might want to refer to my post # 2987 on this forum, where BENJAMIN ADAIR, BARTHOLOMEW WALLACE, JOSEPH ADAIR, and THOMAS GRUBBS, heirs of SARAH WALLACE give power of attorney to Willaim Davis to retrieve some land in Burke Co. that was given to them by their grandmother Sarah Wallace.
This is what I found in the 1799 Jx Co Tax Digest: Bartholomew Wallice John Hansel Joseph Adair Benjamin Adair Thomas Grubs James Stringer
If you would like to have a copy of the Tax Digest I can send it to you. Naomi Vickers
