A source noted that Peter Rasor's will was in the Old Ninety-Six Abbeyville records. Perhaps he is related to E. Razor, of Dunn Creek (see article below). Would any Adairs have lived near Rasor / Razor / Raison ?
"George Smith's colonial records were not searched although he is listed in the 1778-79n Jury list, above 96 Courthouse.
Pauline Youngs Abstracts of Old Ninety Six Wills and Bonds, page 436 shows a George Smith's will as written Oct 1, 1794 with executors John Jones [probably a son of Adam Crain Jones] and John Bell. Witnesses as John Pinkerton, Elizabeth Bell and Robert Wallace. He names wife Elizabeth Smith and children Elizabeth and Jane with son-in-laws Robert and Joshua Wallace. The 1798 plat of Henry Peacock who is also listed in the Jury List with George Smith, shows a George Smith, deceased as a joining land owner.
